01-April-2025. Nasdaq Futures

NQ continues to have a bearish bias based on the time cycle that started on 29-March-2025. We are at the beginning of the time cycle and this may not be at its peak impact.

Yesterday, NQ went ahead towards filling the gap and meeting a resistance in the pre-open around 19500. However, it dropped at open which was in favor of the bearish bias, but any short at these lows without a pullback had become a low probability trade at that point. The drop did not sustain and it went ahead to fill the gap and later proceeded towards an important resistance level.

At the time of writing this, NQ has gone to those mentioned resistance levels and dropped again in the overnight market. My expectation is that it will continue to fall further towards yesterday's low around 19000 and may even breach those levels on the downside - but that may not happen right at the open.

Time cycle events suggest a major move towards the downside on 2-Apr-2025, which coincides with Trump's reciprocal tariff plans.

Today's opening trade bias at 9.30am.

At 9.30, time cycles suggest some level of uncertainty with a weak bullish bias for the first 20-25 minutes. This suggests that we might see some pull backs back to the higher levels before we move down again.

At 3 minutes before open, we might see bearish bias building but not likely to sustain into the open and might suddenly turn at 30 seconds to pre-open.
