Bearish pressure continues

Continue to have a bearish bias on NQ. This is based on the time cycle that started on 29-March-2025 which indicates a weakening around 17-Apr-2025.

Yesterday, on 2-April-2025, I expected a bearish move right from the opening even though we had a dip in the overnight markets. However, we saw a strong pullback bullish rally right after the first minute of the opening. And it crashed huge after the close.

At the time of writing this, NQ has dropped in the overnight markets. NQ has breached the 19000 level and has been hovering around that in the overnight markets. The next lower levels are in the 18000-18100 range. I do not expect NQ to do a gap fill, but after a move like yesterday I would be cautious about the short covering at the opening and would wait to be bearish again after the open. This is based on both price action and time cycle pressure.

Today's opening trade bias at 9.30am.

Around 7 minutes to pre-open we should start seeing bearish move in NQ. That move could last up to 9.30-9.33 am. Thereafter I am seeing a mild bullish signal upto 9.40 to 9.50 am (US/Eastern timezone).

While the short near the opening is tempting, its quite risky because of the overnight move.

I mentioned this yesterday, and will mention it again:
Remember, bearish trends can have strong bullish pullbacks
