Nasdaq Futures / NQ – Forecast for 07 April 2025
Bears likely to take a break today
Potential for bullish pullbacks with a bearish bias on NQ. This is based on the time cycle that started on 29-March-2025 which indicates a weakening around 17-Apr-2025.
The markets have dropped significantly in the overnight markets and also have recovered significantly in the overnight markets. At the time of writing this, NQ is in the negative. The forecast for today suggests that we will see some strong bullish rally from the negative levels, potentially turning into a green day for quite some time, but around 30 minutes near the close we should see a fall in NQ again. We had a mild bullish forecast for NQ over the weekend (when markets are closed). And while today's bias is a negative again, we might see some spill over time cycle bullish effects into today.
In the last post I mentioned the 17400-17850 zone, which was decisively breached in the overnight markets. And then the other level I mentioned, 16500, was tested and NQ has bounced back from there. Now we will start seeing decent resistance around 17800 levels if a bullish move occurs. The next level on the downside is 14300, and NQ might pause around 16500 a few times today.
At the time of writing this, NQ has dropped in the overnight markets and is hovering around the 18000-18100 levels. I wrote about these levels yesterday around the same time but did not expect to see it so soon. The levels below around 17400-17850 are a support zone. If that zone is breached fast, we will probably see down move much lower around 16500 and then 14300 levels.
Time cycles suggests strong bearish move continuing for a few more days. This cycle may peak before or around 17-April-2025.
In the last post I mentioned that the data driven astrology probabilities suggest that we will see a strong crash, not just correction, from 4-March-2025. And just recently we are seeing some indications for that. But the strong crash is a 56% from the high of approximately 22350. We are not there yet, we are just about 50% of that large move yet. Also the expectation is a slow grind downwards and not a very fast move downwards.
Combinations on 4 March to 13 March 2025 = Mercury, Neptune, Chiron coming together. This has also happened at the time of 2020 covid crash, 2008 financial crisis and has worked 8 out of 11 times in the backtests. It does not always result in a crash. Few times it is just a decent correction. However, this time we were also above the 100% levels from the pre-covid highs suggesting a suggesting a price drop back to the pre-covid highs.
But - will the large crash occur? It remains to be seen. Many global factors are aligning with the astrological and time cycle view. Well astrology predictions are not 100% correct.
Today's opening trade bias at 9.30am.
Around the opening, one minute before and after, I expect a bullish move upwards. This should last for 3-5 minutes, but then the time cycles get confusing suggesting another bullish move from 9.40am, 9.45am. The confusion suggests we might see very choppy behavior in the first hour.
