Nasdaq Futures / NQ – Forecast for 11 April 2025

Bears will return stronger and harsher.

Bears coming back

Bears will return today, stronger and harsher. We are in a larger bearish time cycle that started on 29 March 2025 and indicates a weakening around 17 April 2025.

Yesterday, a mild and cautious bullish sentiment was expected, and that did not work out for the first couple of hours. But being cautious helped. Yesterday's move points to the theory that 9-April-2025 was a bullish pullback in a bearish market.

Today's time cycle suggests a new and harsher bearish mood, which is likely to stay so until next Monday, April 14, 2025. I am expecting a strong bearish move today. However, price action suggests some caution. We did not see the "mild bullish" move yesterday, and we must be careful if part of that sentiment spills over today. I do not expect bullish moves to be sustained today.

Today's opening trade bias. (9.30 am)

The time cycle suggests a strong bearish sentiment at the open. I expect to see bearish moves right at the open. At 6 minutes to open at 9.24 am (pre-open), we might see a mild bullish move up to 9.29 am. The first cycle of bearish sentiment is likely between 9.30 and 9.34.

The first one minute of open is expected to be a strong bearish move. And based on how it turns out, we will be able to determine the strength of the bears.
