Nasdaq Futures / NQ – Forecast for 15 April 2025
The Bulls will show up again
The sentiment is expected to turn bullish today, at least for part of the day. We continue to be in a bearish time cycle that started on 29 March 2025 and indicates a weakening around 17 April 2025.
Yesterday, we had a mild bearish sentiment, and I was cautiously expecting the weekend's sentiment to spill over. That worked out, but the cautious approach prevented us from capitalizing on the opportunities. The intraday sentiment timings almost felt like they "worked in the opposite direction," making it difficult to trade those.
Today's time cycle suggests bullish sentiment for NQ. We might see a bullish sentiment at the beginning of the day, which may fade out or weaken at the end.
We are approaching the end of the larger bearish time cycle, and a weakening of the bears is expected. However, that does not mean strengthening bullish sentiment just yet.
Today's opening trade bias. (9.30 am)
We could see a bottom and start bullish moves around 4 minutes to open (9.26 am). Then, a strong bullish move is expected to begin at 9.29 am (pre-open), which could last for at least 3 minutes into the open (until 9.33 am). Since it is the opening bullish sentiment, it could carry NQ much further
